Space and Vibe
From the inception of a new space, it was desired to
keep things comfortable ala the old Glenn Street studio. Bringing recordings
to a higher level was going to take a larger professionally designed space,
and preferably an inspirational setting beyond the suburbs and industrial
spaces. In 2001, a beautiful location was found in historic Butte Creek Canyon a short scenic drive from
town. Here, Electric Canyon has been built with comfort,
reliability, professionalism and fun in mind. The results are in and
clients say the sound is sweet, the vibe is nice and the natural setting
idyllic.
Sonic Intentions
Capturing the artist's sonic vision and meeting their
production needs our goal. Dale communicates with the clients in a
collaborative hands-on recording approach (please touch the dials). A long
time pro-musician, he speaks the language of music and is receptive to
creative freedom and fresh ideas. Each session is an opportunity to share
ideas, try new methods and learn from one another.
